Fine. From 1961 until his death in 1992 Francis Bacon lived and worked in a studio at 7 Reece Mews, South Kensington, London. After his death the studio was removed and relocated to the Hugh Lane Municipal Gallery of Modern Art, Dublin. Prior to it's dismantlement Perry Ogden was granted access to Reece Mews to photograph the studio exactly as Bacon left it at the time of his death. Slashed canvases, discarded rags, photographs, books, ephemera, daubed walls, brushes form a poignant portrait.
