The scarce first volume in a projected catalogue raisonne of the work of the French designer Diego Giacometti. The catalogue contains large full-page illustrations of nearly 100 of Giacometti's bronze designs - sculptures, lamps, chairs, decorative objects, tables, etc. The works are given a short description and dimensions but he did not use serial numbers on his designs so they are not dated. There are three essays on the artist in French, with an English translation. An important work of reference for dealers and collectors. It seems that no further volumes were published.
