The catalogue covers the entire scope of Aublet's career providing a comprehensive review of his work. The sale includes paintings, furniture and design drawings (Aublet worked extensively with tubular metal and participated in the first exhibition of L'Union des Artistes Modernes (UAM)), designs for the two pavilions 'Palais de l'Air' and 'Pavilion des Chemins de Fer' at the Exposition Internationale des Arts et des Techniques, theatre designs, advertising and publicity work. Aublet collaborated with many fellow designers, especially with Sonia and Robert Delaunay (Art et Luminere) and Nicolas de Stael - much of their work is also included.
