A privately-published book illustrating the collection of Central Asian embroideries owned by the American collectors Marshall and Marilyn R. Wolf. Keshte (sometimes meaning "patterned needlework") is the local term adopted by the Wolf's to describe the embroideries. A more generic term would be Suzani. 43 pieces are featured, the majority being large panels. All are expertly photographed with many illustrations of the textiles' details. Grube includes extensive notes, a comprehensive introduction and a bibliography.
