Sir Henry Beauchamp St John was an army officer and colonial administrator in India. During the years that the Visitors Book covers he was Chief Commissioner of Baluchistan and Prime Minister of Jaipur State. The album contains approximately 200 signatures including those of the archaeologist Sir Auriel Stein and Sir Philip Sassoon, in his capacity as Under-Secretary for the Air Ministry. There are occasional later signatures up until 1963. The remaining leaves are blank.
