The scarce definitive book on the French designer Paul Dupre-Lafon (1900-1971). Dupre-Lafon was an architect, decorator and furniture maker whose work straddled the styles of the Art Deco and Modern Movement. Desvergnes' comprehensive study examines his life and work, looking at his various projects, the development of his style and his use of materials. There are numerous archival images and drawings. The book also covers his collaboration with Hermes.
