Dr. Paul Wolff's photographs perfectly capture the sport of skiing and the skiers who escaped to the mountains in the pre-War years. Included are photographs from the 1936 Winter Olympics hosted in Bavaria. Wolff was a master of the Leica camera and his essay and technical notes complete this historical and practical book.
