A tribute to the Anglo-Russian set and costume designer Sophie Fedorovitch. Fedorovitch is best known for her artistic collaborations with Frederick Ashton, designing his first ballet A Tragedy in Fashion in 1926 and continuing to work with him up until her untimely death in 1953. Tributes and Attributes brings together tributes from friends and colleagues, including Fred Ashton, Cecil Beaton, Cyril Beaumont, Richard Buckle, Kenneth Clark, Ninette de Valois, Juliet Duff, Oliver Messel, Marie Lambert and Iris Tree.
