Summer Diary 1986 records Weber's road trip around California and presents a hedonistic dream of Summer - youth, Zuma beach, movie stars, nudity, bars, Shangri-La Hotel, surfing, Lisa Marie, night clubs, life guards. Weber's photographs are complemented by vintage Summer snaps of the likes of Elizabeth Taylor, Robert Mitchum, Allen Ginsberg, Lauren Bacall and Elvis. The stylist was Joe McKenna.
