English. Fine.The sale of the Collection of Elizabeth Taylor was a landmark auction held by Christie's in 2011, bringing in a total of over 150 million US dollars. The auction was broken down into five parts. The first two parts covered Taylor's jewellery, parts III and IV were haute couture and fashion, and part V was fine and decorative art and film memorabilia including costume. Present here are the catalogues for parts III and IV - Taylor's haute couture and fashion items. The total sales figures for these two parts exceeded $5,500,000 and set a record for the most valuable collection of fashion ever offered at auction. The Fashion & Accessories catalogue includes Pucci prints, many of her signature caftans, lots of Versace, graphic designs from Michael Vollbracht, a large amount of handbags by all the major fashion labels including Chanel and Hermes, Chanel suits, mohair sweaters by Galliano, Louis Vuitton luggage, Yves Saint Laurent, Valentino, Tizaiani and so much more.
