His photographs capture the family at work and at leisure, and document some of their finest and most intricate tattoos, as well as their inspirations. The book is divided into chronological chapters: '1944 Ibiza: Las Dallias, Flea Market', '1994-1997 Lausanne: 34, rue Centrale', '2001 USA: The Boston and New Jersey Tattoo Conventions', '1997-2002 Lausanne: 34, rue Centrale & Casa Rossa, Ticino, Switzerland', '1984-2002 The Artwork'. The Leu Family Irontattoo studio continues to operate in Switzerland.
