The authors look at the ideals of high rise buildings, the architectural theories behind the blocks and the social benefits and disadvantages of tower block living. The book includes a list of all multi-storey public developments in the UK and Channel Islands since 1945 and an extensive bibliography of references to projects between c.1945-1970. Now scarce.
