The catalogue for the auction of the furniture belonging to a house with complete interiors by the designer Eugene Printz. The 19th century house was bought by Jean-René Thomas and his wife in 1934. They employed Printz to help with the remodelling of the interiors and to create the furnishings. Printz oversaw every detail - the sweeping staircase, the elegant materials, the choice of woods, the mellow, indirect lighting. The house had been maintained as a complete interior until this sale. 23 pieces by Eugene Printz are offered, including chairs, sideboards, lights, tables, commodes and a bed. There are also designs by Galle, Daum, Lalique, Jouve, etc. The catalogue includes a timeline for Printz, photographs of the complete rooms before the furniture was removed and floorplans.
