An uncommon volume looking at the Polaroid photographs taken by the designer Carlo Mollino. Mollino first discovered the Polaroid camera in 1963 and continued to use it extensively until his death in 1973. The images were frequently of nude or barely-clothed female models within theatrical barqoue settings. Mollino painstakingly retouched each image, creating an erotic idealised version of the female body. Many photographs are reproduced here and are accompanied by essays examining Mollino's work and vision.
