Created by Gianni Versace just before his death, The Art of Being You provides an album of the artworks that inspired the designer. Versace was a passionate art collector, owning art and sculpture by twentieth century greats including Warhol, Dine, Kandinsky, Lichtenstein, Moore, Matisse, Rothko, Picasso and Schnabel. Images of his favourite pieces are placed alongside fashion photographs (Avedon, Testino, Weber, Meisel, etc.) and drawings by the designer. The whole is an exuberant glimpse inside the creative mind of an extraordinary designer.
