A first edition of Ambrose Heath's collection of seasonal, affordable recipes, with jacket and illustrations designed by Edward Bawden. More Good Food was intended as a companion volume to Good Food, published a year earlier. The recipes are grouped into monthly suggestions and first appeared in Heath's newspaper columns, including in the Morning Post and Evening Standard. 'Attention is drawn to the fact that the cover of More Good Food is waterproof and washable.' Luckily the previous owner has not seen fit to test this claim.
