Gianni Versace's 19th-century Villa Fontanelle on the banks of Lake Como was originally built for the Englishman, Lord Charles Currie. Versace filled it with a characteristic blend of Neo-Classical furnishings and his own creations, whilst keeping the country house environment of its original owner. In 2009 the contents of the villa were auctioned at Sotheby's and this sumptuous catalogue was produced, including photographs of the collection in situ. The catalogue follows the sales of Versace's Miami (2001) and New York (2005) residences.
