The catalogue for an exhibition on the Folding Screen at the Fondazione Prada in Milan, curated by Nicholas Cullinan. Cullinan has also edited the catalogue, bringing together essays and comments by critics and artists. The show examined the history of the screen and the cross-pollination of artistic and creative influences between east and west. Historical examples are illustated as well as works by modern artists including Alvar Aalto, Francis Bacon, Marlene Dumas, Duncan Grant, Eileen Gray, David Hockney, Yves Klein and many others.
