An illustrated study of the artistic connections between Picasso and the theatre. Picasso was extensively influenced by the drama and spectacle of the stage, and at the same time was a direct participant in the theatre, designing costumes and scenery, and depicting the dances, actors, composers, and impresarios to be found there. The book was written with co-operation by Picasso and includes previously unpublished letters, photos and interviews.
