An illustrated examination of Sonia Delaunay's textile and fashion designs. Delaunay's inventive, abstract designs were hugely influential during the Art Deco period. She dressed artists ands celebrities, including Tristan Tzara, Gloria Swanson and Nancy Cunard. Her fabrics were sold by the moset exclusive department stroes. Jacques Damase inherited Delaunay's original designs and fabrics samples, and uses them in the book to provide a visual account of Delaunay's groundbreaking work.
