The two volume catalogue for the sale of the Wildenstein Collection of French furniture, objets d'art and tapestries. At the turn of the twentieth-century Nathan Wildenstein amassed a collection of the finest French furniture and decorative objects to fill the rooms of Hotel de Wailly, Paris. In 2005 the Wildenstein firm sold the collection to make room for their art business. The sale included an unrivalled collection of Boulle furniture, as well as outstanding examples of Louis XV and XVI pieces.
