A delightful trade catalogue of formal menswear fashion from the late 1920s/early 1930s. The brochure was produced by Greens in Norwich to publicise their stocking of Maenson's ready-to-wear formal menswear. The illustrations and text exemplify the fashions and language of the 1920s, lending a Bertie Wooster-ish element to the whole. The first anonymous text extols the author's new found appreciation of the merits of ready-to-wear. Dell Leigh then reports on the trends in men's formal wear at home and abroad.
