A collection of photographs by June Newton, working under the pseudonym of Alice Springs. The majority of the images are portraits, taken in Newton's relaxed but insightful style, including of personalities such as Yves Saint Laurent, Karl Lagerfeld, Diana Vreeland, Nike de Saint Phalle, Joseph Beuys, David Hockney, and Charlotte Rampling. There are further sections of advertising work, nudes and 'Helmut at Work'. She dedicated the book to her husband Helmut Newton.
