Subtitled 'The Chanel Wardrobe and Casket of Costume Jewllery assembled by Madame Lilian Grumbach the closest colleague of Mademoiselle Chanel during the Last Fourteen Years of Her Life which will be sold at Auction by Christie, Manson & Woods Ltd.' The jewellery is mainly costume jewellery and many pieces are stamped Chanel. The clothes are made up of Chanel's classic suits, dresses, coats and accessories, many of which were made personally by Mlle. Chanel for her own use.
