Jens Risom was a Danish American furniture designer and a proponent of the mid-century modern style. This trade catalogue, published in 1955, illustrates with photos and drawings many products created by the firm, including cabinets, chairs, sofas, tables, and desks. Interspersed throughout the catalogue are photographs taken by Richard Avedon for an ad campaign entitled 'The Answer is Risom!', promoting Risom as the height of American style.
