Mary Quant is credited with revolutionising youthful fashion. Bazaar, her shop on the King's Road, was opened in 1955 and immediately attracted 'the swinging chicks'. Over the next ten years the Quant brand grew and grew. Quant by Quant provides an on-the-spot memoir of this explosive decade. Photos of Quant by David Bailey grace the jacket, and the illustrated plates includes sketches by Quant and photos by Bailey, John Cowan, Terence Donovan, Brian Duffy and Norman Parkinson.
