One of the best books available on '80s Versace. L'abito per pensare explores the designs of Versace from the late 1970s until 1989. It is packed full with text, archival images, fashion photographs and illustrations, and photographed details of the clothes. The book was published to accompany an exhibition at the Castello Sforzesco in Milan. There are fashion photographs by Bruce Weber, Richard Avedon, Peter Lindbergh, Deborah Turbeville, Albert Watson, Helmut Newton, and many others.
