Piper was one of the greatest designers of stained glass in the twentieth century. His work includes windows at Coventry Cathedral, Eton College and Liverpool Cathedral. Osborne's comprehensive study examines Piper's designs, the traditions and techniques he followed, and his collaboration with the master craftsmen who realised his artworks.
