Indestructible Paint Company Limited. London. c.1950s. Green cloth-bound boards with dual spiral binding. 113 colours divided horizontally to form 226 samples in total so that two colours can be mixed and matched alongside each other. 5 additional samples loosely inserted in rear pocket. English. 135 x 170mm. 0.7kg. . Very good; slight shelf wear, light spotting to inside of rear board; samples are fresh and bright.

A scarce survival of a colour sample book produced by the Indestructible Paint Company. The catalogue samples 113 different colours from their range of 'Indestructible Paints for Protection and Decoration'. Each colour swatch is divided horizontally to allow for colour comparison. An 'Indestructible Paint Company' was manufacturing paints from 1884 and this catalogue appears to be from the mid-twentieth century when the firm had branches across the country.
