Between 1923 and 1930 Gio Ponti created numerous designs for the Italian ceramics manufacturer Richard Ginori. Ponti's ceramics are rooted in the classical but always given a modern twist. His designs are brought together in this catalogue, published to accompany an exhibition of the same name in Milan. Numerous photographs of the ceramics are accompanied by essays and reproductions of Ponti's original drawings.
