The auction catalogue for the sale of the contents of The Duke and Duchess of Windsor's home in the Bois de Boulogne, Paris. The sale included over 3,000 lots and no cupboard or wardrobe was left empty. One volume includes the 'Public Collection' and one volume covers the 'Private Collection'. Furniture, artwork, clothes, shoes, jewellery, books, luggage, collectables, photographs are all catalogued. Highlights include the 'Abdication Desk', the Duchess's couture outfits, the Duke's kilts, an extensive collection of "pug-ware", Cecil Beaton's wedding album, as well as personal sketches and photographs by him. A final volume provides an introduction and context to the sale.
