An exhibition on the life and work of Cristobal Balenciaga, held at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York in 1973. The exhibition was created under the auspices of the Government of Spain to mark the death of the Spanish designer in the previous year. The catalogues includes several illustrations, a list of clothes exhibited and written tributes by those who knew and were dressed by Balenciaga.
