The exhibition catalogue for the 1984 MET retrospective of the work of Yves Saint Laurent. The exhibition marked twenty-five years of Saint Laurent's career and was the first show at the Costume Institute to be given to a living designer. The catalogues includes many new and archival photographs, including several colour images of Dior's designs taken especially for the book by Duane Michals.
